A careful reader in every text field.
Expolita checks spelling, grammar, typography and style in Catalan, Spanish, French and English while you write on the web. It marks the detail, explains the rule, and waits: nothing changes until you press “Apply correction”.
Free. No ads, no analytics, and the text you check is never stored.

The demo checks up to 1200 characters and stores nothing. The extension has no such limit.
Mark it. Explain it. Wait.
Expolita does what a good human proofreader does: it marks the problem, says why it is one, and leaves the decision to you.
Write the way you always do
When you pause, Expolita reads the paragraph you are in and underlines whatever deserves a second look. It never interrupts, never moves the caret and never touches the text.
The new proposal aim to make the process clearer.
Understand the rule
Every suggestion says what it saw and why. If you want the whole rule, “Understand the rule” shows it without taking you away from what you are writing.
The verb form 'aim' does not seem to match the subject 'proposal'.
Apply correctionEnter ↵Let it passYou decide every change
“Apply correction” writes the suggestion into your text and Ctrl+Z undoes it. “Let it pass” discards it. “My words” keeps the terms you use so they stop being flagged.

Catalan, Spanish, French and English.
Expolita recognises the language of your text by itself, or you fix it from the panel. In English it keeps United States conventions apart from British ones.

And if you do not choose one, it detects the language as soon as there is enough text.
Words pass through; they do not stay.
The text you check travels encrypted to Expolita’s server, is processed in memory, and is discarded when the request ends. It is not written to a database, to files or to logs, and it is never used to train models.

Expolita stays in the background until it is needed. And when it is, it tells you in the margin.
